Open Gym night

Come join us Friday night 12/7/07 from 6:30-8:30 for an open gym night. Open gym is open to all grades but tickets are limited to the first 75 students. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday and Thursday before school for $1.

TOY DRIVE

The toy drive was a HUGE success! We collected TONS of toys that will help children in need to have a happier holiday season! Way to go Lakeview students!

TOY DRIVE... off to a great start!

The student council/ MAD club toy drive started today! So far we have collected an entire large moving box filled with toys! This was a great way to kick of the project. We will be collecting throughout the week!

Holiday Toy Drive

The Lakeview Student Council and Make a Difference Club will be hosting a toy drive for the upcoming holiday season. The toys will be donated to The Humanitarian Service Project of Dupage County. The toys collected will help to provide a more joyful holiday to needy children in DuPage County. For more information on the organization go to: http://www.humanitarianservice.org
Toys will be collected before school each day the week of November 26th. Donated toys should be new and should not be gift wrapped. They can be for any age children and can be in any price range. Any donation will be greatly appreciated! Please consider helping out this worthy cause!

MASCOT

The 2006-2007 student council purchased a Spartan Mascot costume. The mascot tryouts were highly successful! Come to the home basketball games to see the debut of the Lakeview Spartan!

Red Ribbon week 2007

Red Ribbon week 2007 was kicked off today with an assembly by Motivational Media. Students were given red ribbon bracelets to wear throughout the week. Friday will be a "wear red" spirit day. All students are encouraged to participate in this weeks' activities!

Orange and Black day 10/19/07

This Friday (10/19) will be the first spirit day of the school year. Students should show their Lakeview spirit by wearing their orange and black Halloween gear on Friday!!!

Fall Dance

The Fall Dance is next Friday (10/29) from 3:00-5:00. The dance is open to all 7th and 8th grade students. Dance tickets may be purchased for $2 from student council members before school on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Snacks may be purchased at the dance. All school rules will apply!

The spirit wear order has been placed. Students should receive their items no later than October 30th.

Once again, the Lakeview Student Council is selling spirit wear. There are t-shirts, 3/4 sleeve baseball t's and hooded sweatshirts available to order. Show your school spirit and support student council! If you need an extra order form, see Mrs. Conley as soon as possible. Orders are due by next Wednesday!

Off to a new year!

Student council is up and running! Representatives have volunteered to lead our Lakeview Student Council. We will meet every Thursday morning at 7:35 in Miss Coppoletta's classroom. We hope to accomplish a lot this school year! If you have any questions, you can direct them to Miss Coppoletta or Mrs. Conley.
